The original PROST was established in Los Angeles in 1976 in an effort to encourage business opportunities and friendship among travel industry executives. During the past several decades, chapters have formed throughout the West Coast & Southwest including Orange County, San Diego, San Francisco, Palm Desert, Inland Empire, Phoenix/Scottsdale, and Beach Cities. While each organization operates individually, the objective and mission are similar.

Introducing a new chapter of Prost opening in January 2023. Prost Beach Cities is the second Prost Chapter for the Los Angeles area.
Prost Beach Cities was formed to allow for more Travel Industry professionals from the L.A. area to be able to join a Prost Chapter and network with their colleagues.
PROST BC meets on the third Wednesday of each month, starting January 18, 2023.

Prost Desert Cities was founded 12 years ago by travel advisor legends Stuart and Ellen Markus. The organization has grown steadily over the years with over 100 members currently. The meetings are held the first Thursday of every month, and attendance is regularly between 50 and 60. Suppliers are given the opportunity to give a brief update on their product at every meeting. We also have a host who sponsors the wine for our toast and gives up to a 15 minute update and presentation at each meeting. For more information please visit our website.

Established in July, 2007, PROST Inland Empire is a social and networking group comprised of executives in the travel industry, including hoteliers, travel consultants, airline representatives, cruise and tour operators, transportation affiliates, and tourism board representatives.
We meet every other month on the 3rd Wednesday, at different, centrally-located Inland Empire venues for an educational forum and luncheon. We also hold a Holiday Celebration in December, which benefits the organization's designated charity.

PROST Los Angeles was created in 1976.
There were about eight or nine women who came up with this idea, in reaction to SKAL’s not allowing women in their organization. Los Angeles decided to break off from the other Prost Groups, one being Denver, whose concept was allowing only women - We were the first to take both female and male. Today, we remain one of the most prestigious groups in the Travel Industry.
